A company
passionate people from Lyon
We are two brothers, Cédric & Alexandre, behind this great adventure. Native of Lyon, both born at the Hôtel Dieu. One is blonde, the other is brunette. One worked in the environment sector, the other in web marketing. Nothing predestined us to work together one day.
But our shared passion for Lyon and our entrepreneurial drive were stronger than anything. We wanted to offer a new way to visit Lyon: fun, light-hearted, friendly, gourmet, unusual, appealing just as much to a first-time visitor as to a lifelong resident of Lyon..
So, after months of work and reflection, it was on April 10, 2014, that the first Lyon BIKE Tour (guided electric bike tour) came to life.
Passion & Excellence
After a few months, the team grew, integrating carefully selected, passionate local guides.
After only a few months, our work was quickly rewarded by joining the podium of Lyon activities on TripAdvisor and by obtaining our label. RPPP, Recommended by Le Petit Paumé (local historical guide) that we will keep every year!
An expanding offer
In 2016, always in search of more originality and innovation, we launched Lyon TUK Tour. This new electric mode of transport has allowed us to offer unusual private guided tours accessible to everyone.
When you say Lyon, you necessarily mean gastronomy. That is why in 2017, we launched Lyon Food Tour. A concept for (re)discovering Lyon combining walking tours and tasting breaks. As from the very beginning, we have selected our partners based on two values that are dear to us: quality and passion.
The years go by and the team grows, reaching up to 15 people. Our range of services expands and the number of projects increases, but our standards of excellence and quality remain unchanged.
Recognized customer satisfaction
Since our beginnings, every year we receive the Trip Advisor certificate of excellence for each of our activities. Based on the average customer review rating, this digital word-of-mouth helps us stay among the top activities in Lyon.
In 2026, Lyon Bike Tour is the 1st outdoor activity in Lyon out of 75 and the Lyon Food Tour 2nd Lyon foodie activity out of 83
Quality work rewarded
On November 6, 2017, at the Tourism Awards organized by ONLY LYON at the Halle Tony Garnier, we were awarded the jury's special favorite prize. An immense pride and a wonderful reward for our young organization, confirming our desire to continue working with the dedication and passion that drives us.

In July 2019, 5 years after the beginning of this adventure, we decided to gather all of our activities on a platform that allows you to create your tailor-made Lyon experience: Lyon ORIGINAL Tours.
For private groups and professionals, we put our Lyon-based expertise and know-how at your disposal for the design, organization, and management of your events in the Lyon region.
