🌊 STEP 1 — The banks of the Rhône
We start on the banks of the Rhône, one of the most successful urban development projects in France. Along several kilometers of bike paths running alongside the river, the guide recounts the history of Lyon and its two rivers: their role in medieval commerce, historic floods, and the transformation of the riverbanks into a living and recreational space beloved by the people of Lyon. It is an ideal introduction to the city, set in a pleasant, traffic-free environment far from cars. 

🌳 STEP 2 — The Tête d'Or Park

right in the heart of Lyon! A true green lung of the city since
1857 is an appreciated break for groups, with a view
lake views from the plane-tree-lined paths
centenarians, a visit through the zoological and botanical park, and a stroll through the rose garden. A must-see! 

🏙️ STEP 3 — The Presqu'île and its iconic squares
Back to the heart of Lyon by bike in the heart of the Presqu'île. The guide punctuates the ride with iconic stops:

• Place des Terreaux: one of the most beautiful squares in France, dominated by the Hôtel de Ville facade and the Bartholdi fountain, by the same sculptor as the Statue of Liberty. An anecdote that never fails to surprise international groups

• Bellecour Square: the largest pedestrian square in Europe, with the equestrian statue of Louis XIV at its center and an unobstructed view of the hills of Fourvière and Croix-Rousse.

📍 RETURN — Transfer to the banks of the Rhône at the foot of the boat. Return by bike to the starting point with a built-in safety margin before re-embarkation time.
