Our rallies in Lyon

Our rallies come in four formats, each with its own identity:

– The gourmet rally: the star of rallies. The riddles are related to Lyon's gastronomic culture, and several tastings are planned at local artisans' shops in addition to cultural stops, riddles, and challenges. This is our most popular format, combining fun and culinary discovery. 

– The walking rally: exploration of Old Lyon and the Presqu'île through cultural and historical riddles and photo challenges. Classic format, accessible to all, ideal for groups wanting to discover the city while having fun.

– The electric bike rally: same principle, but on an electric bike. This makes it possible to cover more neighborhoods (Confluence, Rhône quays) in less time, with the pleasure of riding in a group through the city. It is a way to discover a large part of the city but in a more fun version than a tour.

– The combined rally: an enhanced version that combines a walking rally and an electric bike rally to cover almost all of Lyon (including Old Lyon, which is accessible only on foot)

It is one of the most popular team-building activities in Lyon, and for good reason. The urban rally naturally fosters cohesion: it divides participants into teams, encourages them to collaborate, debate, and make decisions together, all while discovering the city in a relaxed and competitive atmosphere.

The format is accessible to all profiles: there is no need to be athletic, cultured, or a foodie to participate. Each team moves at its own pace, and the final ranking around a sweet or savory snack in a privatized venue creates a moment of collective sharing that is always a success! 

Lyon Original Tours regularly integrates its treasure hunts into corporate seminar, incentive, and team-building day programs. We manage the complete logistics: route design, facilitation, awards ceremony, aperitif, and restaurant meal following the activity. 

Our rallies are designed to adapt to groups of varying sizes:

– From 12 participants up to 300p. Multi-team format with different gourmet routes, but within the same playing area. The starting location may be different from the finishing location depending on the program. 

For large groups (seminars, conventions, corporate days), in addition to the game master, several of our guides supervise the smooth running of the activity. 

There is no fixed maximum size: contact us with your number of participants and we will build a tailored setup.

Yes: that is the very essence of the gourmet rally. At each stop, participants discover a Lyon-based producer or artisan and sample a local specialty: traditional charcuterie, regional cheese, pink praline treats, Lyon chocolate, local beer, Beaujolais or Rhône Valley wine... and many other delicious local products. 

The artisans are selected by our team for the quality of their products and their desire to share their passion. It is as much a taste experience as it is a human encounter.

The gourmet rally can be adapted to specific dietary requirements (vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies) upon prior request. We design customized gourmet tours for the individuals concerned. Please specify this when requesting a quote.

– For a group or business: fill out our quote request form, specifying the desired format (food lover, bike, walking, or combined), the number of participants, available time, date, and any constraints you may have (duration, budget, specific needs). We will send you an initial complete proposal within 48 hours, which we can then refine. 

- For a small group (fewer than 20 people) or a private event (bachelorette party, birthday, group of friends): contact us directly.
